Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 11 a.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Gerald G. Trahan, 80, who passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at 6:13 p.m. at Camelot of Broussard.
Fr. Mikel Polson, pastor of St. Michael Catholic Church, will be officiating for the services.
Burial will be in the Estherwood Cemetery.
The family has requested visitation to be held on Friday, Oct. 2, at 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 in the evening on Friday in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. Visitation will resume on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 8 a.m. until time of services all in the funeral home chapel.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Trahan of Hammond, Patrick and wife Christine Trahan of Lafayette and Randy and wife Rachel Trahan of Lafayette; and four grandson, Chance, Aadyn, Luke and Roman Trahan.
Mr. Trahan was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda Trahan; his parents, Ellis and Noelle H. Trahan; and three brothers, John Trahan, Elwood “Noco” Trahan and Elridge Trahan.
