St. Joseph High class of 1954 attends reunion

The 1954 graduating class of St. Joseph High School of Rayne held a class reunion on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at Chef Roy’s Frog City Café.
The 61-year reunion was attended by 15 classmates and guests, who met prior to the reunion at St. Joseph Catholic Church for the 4 p.m. Mass.
Classmates attended the reunion from the Acadiana area, in addition to Georgia and Mississippi.
Remembered during the reunion were the deceased classmaes, Charles Dupont and Dolores Thibodeaux Werner.
Class officers were president Helen Gossen Arsement, vice presdient Merlin Hoffpauir, secretary Mary Ann Prevost Breaux, amd treasurer Margaret Pharr Zaunbrecher.
Classmates in attendance were Helen Dischler Robles, Joyce Monceaux Alleman, Margaret Habetz Bouillion, Louetta Meche Simon, Mary Ann Prevost Breaux, Margaret Pharr Zaunbrecher, Norma Guillot Landry, Betty Comeaux Perrodin, Selma Faulk Blanchard, Dolores Gilbert Thibodeaux, Alfred Zaunbrecher, Josie Heinen Millet, Helen Gossen Arsement, Donald Petitjean and William LeBlanc.
