Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Abundant Assembly of God in Rayne, La. for Betty B. Arceneaux, 70 who passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 5:17 A.M. at the Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Pastor Finley, Pastor of the Abundant Assembly of God Church in Rayne will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in the Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church Cemetery in Rayne.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 8:00 A.M. until time of Services all at the Abundant Assembly of God Church in Rayne.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty “Tina”, and husband, Joseph Martin of Rayne; three sons, Lawrence and wife, Pam Francis Arceneaux, Jr. of Ridge, Horace and wife, Earline Francis Arceneaux of Rayne and Manwel Arceneaux of Rayne; Leroy “aka” Goldie” Portalis, Jr. (Like a Son); five sisters, Lillie Hardy of Eunice, Betty Bernard of Liberty, TX, Margaret Goodwin of Rayne, Gloria Wilson of Rayne and Shirley Tralar of Crowley; six brothers, Ernest Bernard of Liberty, TX., Lawrence Bernard of Crowley, Micko Bernard of Washington, La., Isaac Bernard of Rayne, Larry Bernard of Rayne and Alex Bernard, Jr. of Rayne; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Ms. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Arceneaux, Sr.; one son, Herbert Arceneaux; one grandson, Herbert Arceneaux, Jr.; one great-granddaughter, Brandasia Dugas; her parents, Alex and Magnolia Bernard; two sisters, Elnora Sias and Birdie White; two brothers, John Bernard and Edward Bernard.
