Robert “Dave” David Holloway
Mr. Holloway passed away at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, at his home in Crowley. He was 75, born on Aug. 3, 1940, in Bemis Tennessee, and was a resident of Crowley for the past 20 years.
He traveled extensively both national and internationally as a consultant and inspector for natural oil and gas pipelines as well as offshore seeing the world and places that most are not fortunate to see in a lifetime.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years of marriage, Mrs. Bobbie J. Holloway; his daughter, Tammy E. Holloway Spell; and grandson, Christian Blake Spell; a brother, James “Earl” Holloway; and his sisters-in-law, June Holloway and Joan Holloway; along with many nieces and nephews from Tennessee; and a godson, Micheal Ludlow of Beckville, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther J. and Lena Mae Collins Holloway; and two brothers, Gerald Wayne Holloway and Teddy Ray Holloway.
Visitation will be at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings on Saturday, Nov. 7, from noon to 2 p.m. with the memorial service at 2 p.m.
