Couple plans autumn wedding

Peter and Daphne Simoneaux of Eunice, formerly of Rayne, are announcing the approaching marriage of their daughter, Dr. Meghan Simoneaux, to Ross Richard of Carencro, son of Terry and Pam Richard of DeQuincy.
The couple will be married on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, during an 1 o’clock afteroon ceremony at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata, followed by a family reception.
Meghan is the granddaughter of Freddie and Carolyn Morgan of Rayne, and Jerome and Hilda Simoneaux, also of Rayne. She is a 2005 graduate of Rayne High School then attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she received a bachelors of science degree in biological sciences in 2009. She then attained a bachelor of science degree in animal science and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014.She is currently employed by North Airline Animal Hospital in Bossier City.
Ross is the grandson of Manuel Ray Breaux of DeQunicy. He is a graduate of Our Lady of Lasalette Catholic Homeschool Class of 2007, and attained a degree in advanced diesel drivability techinican from Universal Technical Institute in 2009. He is presently employed by Hub City Ford.
Following their wedding, the couple plans to make their home in Carencro.
