Engagement shower honors Becca Guidry, Cody Vidrine

An evening engagement party was held in Rayne in honor of Becca Guidry and Cody Vidrine, both of Lafayette.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Bill and Cheryl Guidry of Rayne.
The prospective groom is the son of Donna Vidrine of Lafayette and Dwight Vidrine of Opelousas.
Hosting the special pre-nuptial event were Sheila and Mike Prejean, Georgette and Ronald Prejean, and June and Troy Cooper, aunts and uncles of the bride-elect.
A number of guests enjoyed appetizers and cocktails prior to a buffet dinner served amid an elegant autumn setting and decor.
Guests attended from a number of cities throughout the Acadiana area, in addition to Houston, Dallas and San Antonio, Texas.
Becca and Cody will be married during a 7 p.m. wedding ceremony on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church on the UL-Lafayette campus, followed by a reception at the Petroleum Club in Lafayette.
