Juanita Breaux Meche
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Juanita Breaux Meche, 85, who died at 3:03 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, in Crowley.
Fr. Randy Morrow will celebrate the mass. Visitation may be observed on Monday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until service time. The Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery
Juanita was born June 9, 1930, in Crowley. She was a lifetime member of Saint Michael Catholic Church. She was employed over 50 years with the J C Wilfert Company. After retirement she enjoyed volunteering with Ms. Helen’s Soup Kitchen. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren as well as cooking for them every Sunday.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Simon and her husband Butch of Crowley and Jennie Baguex and her husband Bobby of Egan; three sons, Robert Meche and his wife Terry and Greg Meche and his wife Mona, all of Crowley, and Sidney Meche and his wife Gail of Rayne; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Wanda Seaux and her husband Martin of Mire; and two sisters-in-law, Elaine Breaux and her fiancée Howard Gaspard and Margie Breaux, both of Crowley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Marie Credeur Breaux; her husband, Earl Meche; and two brothers, Rodney Breaux and Ward Ray Breaux.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Simon, Kyle Simon, Tommy Baguex, Tyler Meche, Austin Meche and Hunter Meche.
