Martin Guillory III

BRANCH –– A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edmund Catholic Church in Branch for Martin Guillory, III, 36, who passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 12:17 p.m. surrounded by his family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.
Fr. Paul Broussard, pastor of St. Edmund Catholic Church in Branch, will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in St. Edmund Catholic Church Cemetery in Branch, La.
The family requested visitation be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Church Point. A Rosary was recited at 7 o’clock in the evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume at 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning until time of services.
Survivors include two daughters, Marquez Guillory of Branch and Lillie Woodard of Rayne; one son, Martin D. Guillory of Branch; his parents, Martin “Big G” and Joyce Guillory, Jr. of Branch; four sisters, Jo Ann G. and husband, Daniel Thomas, of Church Point, Monique and husband, Bryson Citizen, of Church Point, Bobbie Jo and husband, Lawrence Navarre, of Crowley and Jaiden Guillory of Rayne; two brothers, Martin L. Guillory of Church Point and Scotty G. Guillory of Rayne; two godchildren, Temica Goodwin of Branch and Daniel I. Thomas, Jr. of Church Point and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eric and Georgia Goodwin and his paternal grandparents, Privat and Eula Guillory.
