NAUW hosts annual Yuletide Love Feast

The National Association of University Women Crowley Branch celebrated its annual Yuletide Love Feast on Monday, Dec. 7, at Israelite Baptist Church. Special guests included local pastors and their wives, public officials and friends from the community. A combined choir from Israelite Baptist Church and St. Joseph Baptist Church provided entertainment. The theme for the evening was, “Let us rejoice in the spirit of Christmas which is peace, the blessing of Christmas which is hope and the gift of Christmas which is love.” Gifts were presented and a Christmas meal was served. NAUW members on hand for the event were, seated from left, Betty Gums, Cynthia Winbush, Dr. Ezora Proctor, Cheryl Lewis, Myrtle Cain; standing, Hilda Jones, Jocelyn Potier, Martha Williams, Shelda Kelso, Debira Broussard and Meridian Vallery.
