Rayne Memorial services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Saturday, April 23, 2016, at a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. for Wilbert Joseph Bourque, Jr., 41, who died Sunday, April 10, 2016, in Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, LA..
Entombment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.
Surviving are two sons, Derrick Bourque and wife, Hope, of Rayne, and Jack Throw of Eugene, Oregon; father, Wilbert Bourque, Sr. and wife, Susan Credeur Bourque of Indian Bayou; sister, Pam Bourque Heard and husband, Robert, of Lake Charles; two nephews, Dillion Perrodin and wife, Brittany, of Branch, and Brayden Perrodin of Lake Charles; great niece, Oakley Perrodin of Branch; paternal grandmother, Ruddell Terro Prejean of Duson; three step- grandchildren, Tayler Broussard, Adrien Broussard, and Haley Broussard, all of Rayne.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joshua James Bourque; mother, Janelle Zaunbrecher Bourque; maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Marie Zaunbrecher; and paternal grandfather, Alton Bourque.
