Lenia LaCombe “Lynn” Hebert

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 27, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Iota, for Lenia LaCombe “Lynn” Hebert, 95, who died Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at 11:04 p.m. at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. “Lynn” truly loved and supported her family in following the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in all of their athletic endeavors. She enjoyed many years of quilting, crocheting and various crafts with her friends and family.
Fr. Jude Thierry, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Thursday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A rosary will be recited Thursday at 6 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Mrs. Hebert is survived by one daughter, Elaine H. Wriborg of Iota; one son, Mike Hebert and wife Patty of Iota; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Laris Hebert; one son, Dr. Laris Carral Hebert; one great-grandson, Bryson Wriborg; her parents, Christe and Alice Doucet LaCombe; three brothers, Leroy “Gregg” LaCombe, Florence LaCombe and Wilbert LaCombe; and one sister, Murel Ewing.
Pallbearers will be T. J. Clancey, Robert Hebert, Christopher Hebert, Braeden Hebert, Hunter Wriborg, Derek LeJeune and Cory LaCombe.
