Wind damage in St. Martinville

A SPLINTERED WATER OAK rests on a car port in northern St. Martinville after straight-line winds Tuesday reached 55 mph in parts of Acadiana.

The thunderstorms that followed that evening were mild in comparison. No injuries were reported.
