Sarver, Morgan family reunion

A family reunion for the family of Alice Sarver and Joseph Morgan was held on Saturday, April 5 at the Church of the Nazarene in Ebenezer.

During the reunion, Richard Morgan from Crowley was recognized as the only surviving child and the oldest family member in attendance, Emma Broussard also from Crowley was recognized as the youngest in attendance, and Vera and Craig Bertrand from Shepherd, Texas were recognized for having traveled the farthest to attend the reunion..

A covered-dish style meal was served consisting of crawfish, brisket, vegetables, salad, and dessert.

Approximately fifty guests were in attendance, traveling from Robert’s Cove, Lumberton and Shepherd Texas, Breaux Bridge, Sulphur, Scott, Morse, Crowley, and Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Not all family members attending the reunion were present at time photo was taken.
