Alma Moore Sinclair

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church for Mrs. Alma Moore Sinclair, 91, who passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley due to illness.
Funeral services will be performed by Father Godwin Imoru. Mrs. Alma M. Sinclair will be buried at South Crowley Cemetery.
Alma was born on Jan. 18, 1924, in Breaux Bridge. She moved to Crowley as a young child and joined St. Theresa Catholic Church, where she remained faithful.
In 1942, she married Joseph Louis Sinclair Sr. and together raised four children.
Alma worked as a nurse’s assistant at American General Hospital for 33 years. She was well known for her kindness, patient spirit, technical knowledge and loving smile.
She leaves to cherish her memories her two children, Alma Mary Sinclair of Crowley and Allen “Kirk” Sinclair (Charlene) of Moreno Valley, California; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two godchildren; and a host of other family, relatives and friends.
Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Louis Sinclair Sr.; two sons, Langston Anthony Sinclair and Joseph Louis Sinclair Jr.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, at St. Theresa Catholic Church from 8:15 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9 a.m.
