Anna Lee Guidry Richard

Rayne - Funeral services for Anna Lee Guidry Richard, 89, of Duson, were held on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, Rayne. Father Allen Breaux officiated.  Interment followed at St. Theresa Catholic Cemetery in Duson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m. until service time in Duhon Funeral Home in Rayne, with a rosary being recited in the funeral home at 11 a.m.
Mrs. Richard passed away on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, in her Duson residence.
A lifetime resident of Duson, Mrs. Richard was a faithful member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She worked for Trappey Foods for 16 years, and was a sitter for many babies and children throughout the years.  
Survivors include her son, Dennis Guidry and wife Debra of Duson; sisters, Sable Alleman and husband Leroy of Duson, and Lurnice Trahan of Duson; grandchildren, Trisha Gary and husband Scott of Duson, and Skyler Guidry of Duson; great-grandchildren, Kylie Guidry, Shai Balfa, Michael Guidry, and Tega Gary; and great-great-grandchild, Addie Johnfore. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Preceding Mrs. Richard in death were her husband of 67 years, Calise Richard; parents, Clinton and Dorestine Duplechin Guidry; sisters, Mable Alleman, Bernice Alleman, and Theresa Bourque; and brothers, Wilson Guidry, Anthony Guidry, Nelson Guidry, Olanda Guidry, Morris Guidry, and Noon Guidry.
Serving as pallbearers were Skyler Guidry, Michael Guidry, Curtis Guidry, Chad Prejean, Scott Gary, and Daniel Romero.
