Barbara Jean Dubey

Funeral services were held for Barbara Jean Dubey, 81, on Friday Nov. 14, at 2 p.m. at Duhon Funeral Home, LLC, of Crowley with Chaplain Francis Fontenot officiating.

Interment followed the services at Woodlawn Cemetery of Crowley.

Barbara was born in Crowley; graduated from Crowley High School; and married and moved to Old Town, Maine. She returned to Crowley, where she resided until her death.

Mrs. Dubey is survived by her children, Odile Dubey Huesers and husband Tommy of Duson and Victoria Dubey Cradeur and husband Clint of Crowley; grandchildren, Chase Joseph Cradeur and wife Dana of Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Chad Leonard Cradeur of Crowley and Jenina Michelle Huesers of Duson; great-grandchildren, Isabella Tisen Simon and Mekayla Clare Huesers; and one brother, Dudley John Dupuis of Crowley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Dupuis and Idee Guilbeau Dupuis; grandson, Tyson Robert-Michael Huesers; brothers, Lloyd Barnhill and Viron Leonard Barnhill; and one sister, Jacqueline Dupuis Trahan.

The family would like to thank the staff of Southwind Nursing Home and Family Choice Care Hospice for the care and support they provided.
