Barry C. Roberts Sr.

Funeral services for Barry C. Roberts Sr. will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at Starlight Missionary Baptist Church, 202 Webb St., with Pastor Nathan T. Stevens officiating.
Mr. Roberts died Friday, May 20, 2016, at his residence in Rayne.
Interment will be in Rayne Community Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Linda M. Roberts and two children born to that union, Ravin (Kenneth) Beverly and Barry (Naomi) Roberts; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a special devoted, lifetime companion, Roxanna Granger; three children, Antonio (Amber) and Shalin (Tray) of Rayne, and Dinny (Mikki) Granger of Orange, Texas; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Bertha Jones and Francis Bias of Rayne; two brothers, Darryl and Hubert Roberts of Rayne; two aunts, five sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Lillie Roberts Sr.; four siblings, Mary Ann, Oliver Jr., Ricky and Tony; and one grandson.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Starlight Missionary Baptist Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Syrie Funeral Home, Inc., of Lafayette.
