Bernice A. Terro

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014, at 1:00 p.m.  at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Bernice A. Terro, 86, who passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter’s in Rayne.
Fr. Kendal Faulk, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church. will be officiating the services.
The family is requesting visitation be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and then Thursday, January 23, 2014, at 8:00 a.m. until time of the services. A Rosary was recited at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday night in the Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne.  
Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery New in Rayne.
Survivors include three daughters, Wanda and husband, Wilson Bordes, Jr., of Rayne, Sandra and husband, Terry Comeaux, of Rayne and Melanie and husband, Chris Theriot, of Lafayette; two sons, Curley and wife, Sarah P. Terro, of Rayne and Tony and wife, Sandy Terro, of Rayne; three sisters, Nell Truman of Woodlawn TX., Majorie Meche of Sulphur and Thelma Moncrief of Mississippi; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren;and several great-great grandchildren.
Ms. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Leawood Terro; one daughter, Carolyn Menard; one son, Mark Terro; one son-in-law, Albert Menard; one brother, Louis Alleman, Jr.; and one sister, Mamie  Daigle.
