Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm for Betty Jean Trahan Lantier , 72, who died Sunday, March 2, 2014 in Lafayette General Medical Center Hospital in Lafayette, LA.
 
Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Mausoleum in Rayne, LA.
 
Surviving are her husband, Joseph "Houston" Lantier of Scott, one sister, Loraine Trahan David of Scott, one brother, Joseph Trahan and wife Mary of Picayune, MS.
 
She was preceded in death by parents, Zanny Joseph Trahan and Rita Kibodeaux Trahan, one brother, Hillyan Trahan.
 
Mrs. Betty was raised in Crowley and has resided in Scott for the last 45 years.
 
A rosary will be recited Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA.
 
Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm and Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm.
