Carter Boudreaux Demarest

Carter Boudreaux Demarest passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015, age 68. Beloved wife of LtC. Kenneth C. Demarest, Sr. Mother of Jeanne Demarest Schaumburg (Seth), Kenneth “Chip” C. Demarest, Jr. and Paul George Demarest. Daughter of the late George and Jessica Boudreaux of Rayne, LA. Grandmother of Jessica Carter, Katherine Quealy and Grace Farnsworth Schaumburg, Jacob William and Caroline Elizabeth Demarest and Jeanne Blair Demarest. Also survived by nieces and nephews.  
A graduate of Rayne High School in the class of 1964, attended and a graduate of U.S.L, Lafayette, LA in 1968 with a B.A in education. Married for over 46 years and taught drivers education for 25 years. Carter was a longtime member of St. Matthew the Apostle Church and a member of numerous parish and religious organizations.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, 10021 Jefferson Hwy., River Ridge, LA on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at 11:30 a.m.
Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
Visitation on Thursday, in Church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
