Claire Hains Comeaux

Rayne - Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, November 2, 2015, at a Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 p.m. for Claire Hains Comeaux, 95, who died Wednesday, October 28, 2015, in Sanctuary At Passages Hospice in New Orleans, LA.
Interment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.
Surviving are one daughter, Kathryn Comeaux d’Hemecourt of Harahan; three grandchildren, Edmond Matthew d’Hemecourt III and his wife, Shannon of Covington, Claire d’Hemecourt Glas and her husband, Jerry of Metairie, Carrie d’Hemecourt McDonald and her husband, Mike, of Harahan; six great-grandchildren, Sarah Katherine d’Hemecourt, Edmond Matthew d’Hemecourt IV, Kathryn Anne Glas, Molly Elizabeth Glas, Andrew Raymond McDonald, and Ryan Edmond McDonald.
She was preceded in death by husband, Freddie Comeaux; father, Robert Hains, mother, Orta Besse Hains; one brother, Price Hains, Sr.; and two sisters, Bobbie Louise Hains Gossen, and Wilma Hains Smith.
She was a proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
Friends were received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Monday, November 2, 2015, 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
