Funeral services were held at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, Saturday, September 28, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. for Curtis Jean Alleman, 84, who died Thursday, September 26, 2013.

Interment was in the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Earline Alleman; nine children, Deborah A. Keil and husband, Kenneth, Bryan Alleman and wife, Roxanne, Kurt Alleman, Kim Alleman and wife, Cheryl, Tony Alleman and wife, Eileen, Todd Alleman, Troy Alleman and wife, Wynona, Yvette Alleman and husband, Dale, and Chad Alleman and wife, Nicole; 16 grandchildren; one  great-grandchild; one brother, Dalfred Alleman and wife, Joyce; and two sisters-in-law, Lillian Alleman and Clarisse Moroux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Amelia Sonnier Alleman; two brothers, Irvin Alleman and Harold Moroux; and grandchild, Lindsey Marie Alleman

Friends were received Friday, September 27, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 28, 2013, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne.

A Rosary was recited at 6:30 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013.

The family would like to thank Mr. Worley and Dr. Neal Duhon.
