Cyprus “Cyp” Dwight Bellard

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014, at 1 p.m. in Starlight Baptist Church with Rev. Craig G. Gregory officiating for Cyprus “Cyp” Dwight Bellard, 38, who died at 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at his residence in Rayne.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery No. 2.
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday in Starlight Baptist Church.
Mr. Bellard was a 1995 graduate of Rayne High School and later attended East Central University in Ada, OK on a football scholarship.
He was a founder and former member of the Boot Camp Riders Motorcycle Club.
He is survived by his parents, John Lee and Ludy Bellard of Rayne; his fiancée, Tajuana Bessard of Rayne; four sons, Kobé, Quinlan, Grant and Tyler of Ada, OK; three daughters, Marquisha of Ada, OK,  and Amaya and Comeron, both of Rayne; paternal grandmother, Earline Bellard; maternal grandfather, Henry Lee Malbrough; a sister, Darbie Bellard of Rayne; nephew, Damarion Wheeler;  and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth D. Broussard; maternal uncle, Joseph Earl Broussard; paternal grandfather, Edgar Bellard; paternal aunt, Cynthia “Sandra” Richard; and godfather, Ronald Ray Sias.
Active pallbearers will be David Bellard, Ezzie Charles, Jermaine Cole Jamie Evans, Ceasar Giles, Nigel Johnson, Malcolm Malbrough, and Donald Ray Sias, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Horrace Arceneaux, Kerry Bellard, Kourtsy Benard, William Board, Dwayne Breaux, Davin Broussard, Earl Broussard, Jr., Freddie Broussard, Jr., Paul Broussard, Jr., Kerold Broussard, Jr., Osbourne Butler, Jr., Daniel Domingue, Francios Francis, Nicholas Johnson, Clarence Joseph, Joseph Martin, Derrick Pete, Leroy Portalis, Jared Pesslier, Barry Roberts, Jr. Tyler Short, Mitchell Thibodeaux, Quentin White, and  Daquan Wycoff.
Final arrangements were entrusted to Wilturner Funeral Home of Crowley.
