Darrel James Doucet

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Darrel James Doucet, 54, who died July 17, at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.

Fr. Mikel Polson, pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. to the time of service. Interment will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.

He is survived by his mother, Livian Leger Doucet of Church Point; one sister, Janet Daigle of Egan; two brothers, Johnny Doucet and his wife, Kelle, of Egan and George “Billy” Doucet Jr. of Crowley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Darrel is preceded in death by his father, George Doucet Sr.
