A wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Deanna Mae Dupre will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Deanna died peacefully on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at Amelia Manor Nursing Home in Lafayette surrounded by her loved ones. She was 75. A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice.
Inurnment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery with Father Sensat officiating.
Deanna was a retired bookkeeper from the Bank of Commerce in Crowley as well as an active member of the Deaf Action Center in Lafayette. She loved and supported the New Orleans Saints but most of all she loved her family. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Kim Tanner and husband Clint of Youngsville; a wonderful sister to a brother, Fred Dupre of Lafayette and a sister, Delores Rachal and husband Wesley of Eunice. She was the most loving and wonderful grandmother to two granddaughters, Caroline and Kristen Tanner of Youngsville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Celima Bertrand Dupre; four brothers and three sisters.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Friday, Jan. 2, from 9 a.m. until time of services. Deacon David Guillory will recite a Rosary at 10 a.m.
