Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial for Delia Theresa Fontenot Richard , 87, who died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Rayne Guest Home, Rayne, LA.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Mausoleum, Rayne, LA.

Surviving are one son, Russell Richard and wife Peggy of Lafayette, two daughters, Judie Alleman and husband Russell of Rayne, Melba Jabusch and husband Patrick of Crowley, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, one brother, Prigeon Fontenot and wife Betty Ann of Rayne, one sister, Rita Trahan of Duson.

She was preceded in death by husband, Purvis Joseph Richard, father, Isaac Fontenot, mother, Regina Credeur Fontenot, one sister, Sybil Nugent.

A rosary will be recited Monday, January 26, 2015 at 6:30 pm at Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne, LA.

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA Monday, January 26, 2015 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 8:00 am until 1:30 pm.

The Richard family would like to thank Hospice of Acadiana and staff, and Rayne Guest Home and Staff for the great care they gave to Mrs. Delia Richard.
