Delores P. Pierce

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, at 11 a.m. at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church for Delores P. Pierce, 75, who died Sept. 21, 2016, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Gerard Perkins.
Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Darryl W. Pierce (R. Denise) of Austin, Texas, and Tracy D. Nash (Tonya R.) of Lafayette; nine grandchildren, Tamesha Morales (Alfredo), Darryl W. Robinson, Maya Y. Calixte (Reggie), Christopher L. Pierce, Tracy D. Nash Jr., Toni D. Nash, Jennifer Mackey, Terrell House and Eldridge L. Peterman II; one great-grandchild, Elijah J. Johnson; three sisters, Betty Jones Harper of Vallejo, California, and Joyce Green and LaVera George, both of Crowley; one sister-in-law, Laurita Pete of Crowley; four foster sisters, Debra, Peggy and Theresa Andrews of Lake Charles and Diane Harmon of Jennings; three foster brothers, Freddie Johnson of Inglewood, California, Eugene Harmon of Minnesota and Darrell Harmon of Crowley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Pierce Jr.; parents, Celina and Lloyd Pete Sr.; three brothers, Lloyd Pete Jr., Sidney Pete and Melvin Pete; and four sisters, Geraldine Pete Dawson, Ella Louise Pete, Carolyn Pete and Lattie Ann Pete.
Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 30, at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and continue Saturday, Oct. 1, from 9 a.m. until time of service.
