Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel for Dennis Paul Stelly, 59, who died Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at his residence in Rayne.
Deacon Barry LeBanc with St. Joseph Catholic Church will conduct the memorial services.
Survivors include his wife, Michele Boudreaux Stelly of Rayne; daughter, Crystal Stelly Kemp and husband Greg of Magnolia, Texas; step-son, Joshua Boudreaux of Rayne; two grandchildren, Alexis Veah Meeks and Blaine Meeks, both of Magnolia, Texas; parents, Freddie Stelly Sr. and Verelin Derouen Stelly; five sisters, Audrey Stelly of Duson, Gail Stelly Thibodeaux and husband Steve of Estherwood, Karen Stelly Virdine and husband Kilren of Cecilia, Christy Stelly Briggs and husband Michael of Arnaudville, and Tammy Stelly and companion Floyd Mouton of Duson; two brothers, Mark Stelly and wife Sally of Breaux Bridge, and Freddie Stelly Jr. and wife Karen of Beaumont, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews.
Paul loved the outdoors. He loved being with family and cooking for them. He loved anything camo and he loved hunting. He liked helping people and always was willing to help. Most of all he loved his family.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne on Thursday, Sept. 29, from noon to 2 p.m.
