Edward Dupre Pellerin

Rayne - Funeral services were held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, January 2, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial for Edward Dupre Pellerin, 74, who died Wednesday, December 31, 2014, in Rayne Guest Home in Rayne.
Interment was in the St. Theresa Cemetery, Duson.
Surviving are three sister, Elaine Guidry Comeaux and husband, Howard, of Scott, Betty Guidry Leger and husband, Larry, of Scott, Jeanette Guidry Domingue and husband, Harry, of Duson; two nieces, Ashley Domingue Broussard and Rachel Comeaux; one nephew, Jason Domingue; two great- nieces, Paige Nicole Domingue and Victoria Comeaux; and one great-nephew, Jaron Hunter Domingue.
He was preceded in death by mother, Yolande Guidry; father, Eleus Pellerin; and one sister, Yvonne Sonnier Saltzman.
A rosary was recited Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne.
Friends were received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, Friday, January 2, 2015, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
The pallbearers were Harry Domingue, Jason Domingue, Jaron Domingue, Paige Domingue, Ashley Domingue Broussard, and Kyle Broussard.
Mr. Pellerin was a Honor Life Member of the Knights of Columbus in Cankton Council 10745, and a member of the 4th Degree Bishop Dubourg Assembley 315.
The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Mark Dawson and the nurses and CNA’s at the Rayne Guest Home. Also to Patti Campbell Guidry and RN’s with Hospice of Acadiana.
