Ella Mae Kennedy-Guillory

A home going celebration for Ella Mae Kennedy-Guillory was held Saturday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m. Viewing was held prior from 8:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.

Ella Mae Kennedy-Guillory, born Jan. 5, 1941, was one of four children born of the late Frank and Agnes Kennedy. She was the only girl and was the twin of her only surviving siblings. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and attended regularly until her illness.

Ella was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. Her smile would light up a room and change the atmosphere with her presence. She will truly be missed!

She leaves to cherish her memories her twin, Elgee Kennedy; her children, Patricia Guillory, Paula (Clarence Jr.) Leger, Patrick (Laurie) Guillory Sr., Debra Guillory and Fredrick (Denise) Guillory; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Agnes Kennedy; and her brothers, Elton and Curtis Kennedy.

Wilturner Funeral Home was entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
