Funeral services for Ernia Mary Simoneaux, 70, will be held Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath, with Father Bill Melancon, pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, officiating.
Visitation was held Monday Dec. 22, from 4 p.m. until time of services on Tuesday. A Rosary was recited Monday at 7 p.m., at David Funeral Home of Abbeville. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery.
A native of Gueydan and resident of Dulac, Ernia passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, at a Houma health care facility.
Survivors include her children, Tina and husband Kenny Brasseaux of Rayne, Roxanne and husband Danny Aube of Rayne, Angela and husband Chris Domingue of Erath and Clement and wife Amanda Simoneaux III of Dulac; her stepdaughter, Samantha Dupuis of Abbeville; three brothers, Mason Adams of Catahoula and Manson and Glen Adams, both of Jennings. She is also survived by her companion, Billy Miller of Crowley; and the father of her children, Clement Simoneaux Jr. of Grosse Isle; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents Willie Cormier Sr. and Effie Abshire.
Serving as pallbearers will be Clement Simoneaux III, Clement Simoneaux IV, Baylee Simoneaux, Noah Domingue, Josh Hebert and Jody B.J. Dupuis Jr.
