Eula Andrus Cobena

Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. for Eula Andrus Cobena , 93, who was born November 27, 1919, and died Friday, October 11, 2013.
Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery #2.
Mrs. Eula was just one month from her 94th birthday. She was affectionately known as “Maw Maw T” by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She truly loved her family and friends, and when anyone would tell her that they loved her, she would say, “I love you but God loves you more”. She will be missed by all.
Surviving are four children, Terry Moock and husband, Joe, Ted Cobena, Jr. and wife, Celeste, Don Cobena, and Clara Hundley and husband, Nick; nine grandchildren, Chris Moock and wife, Elaine, Gregg Moock and wife, Ayako, Mindy Moock, Hollie McDaniel and husband, Jon, Annaclaire Inzerella and husband, Jed, Nicholas Hundley, Elizabeth Brown and husband, Alex, Stephen Hundley and wife, Lindsay, and Maria Hundley; ten great-grandchildren, Fuji Moock, Julia, Madelyn, Kate, Laura, Rosemarie, Audrey, Camille McDaniel, Abigail and Coleman Inzerella.
She was preceded in death by husband, Ted Cobena Sr.; and her parents Dorris and Clara Petitjean Andrus.
Friends were received Tuesday, October 15, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 16, 2013. from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne.
A Rosary was recited at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, and 10:00 a.m. October 16, 2013.
Mrs. Eula was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and graduated June 3, 1940 from Loyola University in New Orleans with a degree in music.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, Flo Broussard, Christine Breaux, Lois Leon, Joella Lease, Kathy Royer, Danielle Stafford, and everyone who has helped to care for Mrs. Eula over the years.
