Eva Gwendolyn LeBlanc

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015, in Cunningham C.M.E. Church, with Rev. Louis P. Currie, Sr., officiating, for Eva Gwendolyn LeBlanc, 75, of Rayne, who died at 10:42 p.m. on October 30, 2015, in Acadia General Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
Visitation will be in the church from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Burial will follow in the Rayne Protestant Cemetery, Rayne.
She was born September 16, 1940 in Rayne to Charlie LeBlanc and Rebecca Evans LeBlanc.
A graduate of Acadia Parish Training School, her greatest passion was family and especially cooking Sunday family meals. She enjoyed shopping.
She was employed with Optimum Personal Care Service for 10 years and retired from Harris County Hospital District in Houston, Texas, with over 25 years of service.
She is survived by two brothers, Harold J. and Charles R. LeBlanc, both of Rayne; two sisters, Mona Anderson of Houston, Texas, and Claudette Johnson of Rayne; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Harlow J. LeBlanc; and her parents, Charlie and Rebecca LeBlanc.
Pallbearers will be Everett Wycoff, Jeff Evans, Carlton Cook, Edward Nickson, Sr., Jerrell Bercier, Jr. and Billy Ray LeBlanc.
Honorary pallbearers will be Damon McMillian, Charles A. LeBlanc, Thomas Sonnier, Gerald Anderson, Jr., Daniel Thomas, Rabis Nickson, Deandre Porter, Majur Porter, Gregory Minix, Sr., Gregory Minix, Jr., Charles Traynor, Charles Ray LeBlanc, Danny Cormier.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Frank Brothers Funeral Home of Eunice.
