Frank Edward Privat

Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, June 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. at a Mass of Christian Burial for Frank Edward Privat, 75, who died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Encore Nursing Home in Crowley.
Interment will be in the Leger Cemetery in Rayne.
Surviving are wife, Eva Thibodeaux Privat of Rayne, two daughters, Julie Privat Wells, Stephanie Privat Nini and husband David, four step daughters, Sara Leon, Laura Fontenot, and husband Ben, Wynette Daigle and husband Taite, Shelly Coleman and husband Brandon, son, Joseph Privat and wife Melissa, two step sons, Brian Leon and wife Roxanne, David Leon, seventeen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, brother, Kenneth Privat and wife Brenda.
He was preceded in death by father, Joseph Edwin Privat, mother, Letitia Duos Privat, great grandchild, Bailey Leon.
Frank worked for the Rayne Police Department for 20 years, and was a member of American Legion in Rayne, Knights of Columbus in Rayne.
A rosary will be recited on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne.
Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., in Rayne on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Monday, June 27, 2016, 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
