George Joseph LeBlanc

Abbeville - Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 20, at a noon Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of George Joseph LeBlanc, 84, who died Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Vermilion Health Care Center.
He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Gregory Cormier officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Corey Duhon, Seth Hollier, Neil Vidad, Treven Wise, Kaleb Boullion, and Brian Broussard. Honorary pallbearer will be Daniel Domec.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy S. LeBlanc; two daughters, Brenda Henry, and Tamara Mills and husband Adam; two sons, Gaylen LeBlanc and wife Beth; brother, Eugene LeBlanc and wife Liz; sister, Rena LeBlanc; grandchildren, Rachel Landry, Tabitha Daigle, Ambry LeBlanc, Erin Wise, Cameron LeBlanc, Theresa LeBlanc, Ashley LeBlanc, Seth Hollier and Allison Hollier; great-grandchildren, Macy Duhon, Corey Duhon, Courtney Duhon, Treven Wise, Cody Wise, Summer Wise, Kaleb Boullion, Kora Boullion, Carson Romero, Aiden Delcambre, Adalyn Trahan and Grayson Trahan; and great-great-grandchild, Maya Duhon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonce LeBlanc Sr. and the former Rita East; brothers, Sidney LeBlanc and Leonce LeBlanc Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Robin LeBlanc.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Wednesday, July 20, from 8 a.m. until 11:45 a.m., when the procession will depart for the church. A rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m.
The family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff of Hospice of Acadiana and I.C.U. nurses at Abbeville General Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion they have shown.
