Gleen Rose Guidry

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church for Gleen Rose Guidry, 57, who died July 2, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Carlton Carter.
Interment will be in South Crowley Cemetery.
She is survived by her father, Dallas Guidry, Sr.; sisters, Abbie Gail Oliver, Anna Mae Guidry; brothers, Dallas Guidry, Jr., Robert Lee Guidry, Carlton James Guidry, Yancy Lee Guidry, Sr.; special friend who was like a sister, Cynthia Marie Richard; four aunts, Lillie Mae Thomas, Gertie Ruth Bates, Barbara Guidry, Audry Guidry; four uncles, Earl Guidry, Sr., Rodney Guidry, Sr., Harry James Guidry, Sr., Lester Lee Guidry, Jr; a very loving Goddaughter, “Neko” Breaux; a loving and very caring brother-in-law, Leon Oliver, Jr.; a very special great nephew, “Da-Da”, her little “Spongebob”; two special nephews, Ricardo Bates, sr. and Lawrence Bernard, Jr.; very close great nieces and nephews, Destiny, Laila, Ricardo Jr., Blaise, Sabrina, Lauren, Cody, Cory; close friends, Bobbie and Davante and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Mae Bates Guidry; grandparents, Rose Wood and Walter Bates, Sr. ad Viddie Semette and Lester Guidry, Sr.
The family would like to thank the following for their special services: Bishop Louis Dugar, Pastor Horace Louis and wife, Audrey Louis, Pastor Horace Carter, Pastor Dennis Smith, Rev. Searald Joseph, Brother-in-law, Leon Oliver and Quality Care Staff.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church from 8 a.m. until time of service.
