Gloria C. Doucet

RAYNE - Funeral services were held for Gloria C. Doucet, 77, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June11, at the Duhon Funeral Home - Rayne Chapel with Deacon Dennis LaCroix as celebrant.
Visitation was held at Duhon Funeral Home - Rayne Chapel on Friday, June 10, from noon until 9 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. and resumed at 8 a.m. on Saturday until just prior to the service time.
Interment followed the church service and was in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery “New” in Rayne.
Mrs. Doucet passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
Mrs. Doucet is survived by her children, Vernon Doucet and Darlene Plaisance of Indian Bayou, Sandra Constantin and Bryan Ryder of Lake Authur, Wesley Doucet and wife Patricia of Crowley and David Doucet of Sulphur; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin J. Doucet; son, Edward Louis Doucet; parents, Sanders and Nydia Constantin; and brother, Ferdinand Constantin.
Pallbearers were Wesley Doucet, Bryan Ryder, Vernon Doucet, David Doucet, Joseph “Buddy” Doucet and Colby Doucet.
Honorary pallbearers were C.J. Doucet and Chad Lafosse Jr.
