Harley A. Morgan

Crowley—Services are pending for Mr. Harley A. Morgan, 87, of Crowley.  Mr. Morgan passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. in a Crowley care facility.

A native of the Indian Bayou-Ebenezer area, Mr. Morgan was a U.S. Navy of World War II.  He retired from Conoco, where he worked as an operator for many years.

An avid golfer, Mr. Morgan was well-known in the area golfing community.  He was a scratch golfer who had over a dozen holes-in-one to his credit.  Ripley’s Believe It Or Not even has a record of Mr. Morgan’s on-the-fly hole-in-one.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Morgan and wife, Lisa of Crowley, and Patrick Morgan of Crowley; brothers, Leon Morgan of Rogers, AR, and Daniel Morgan and wife, Darlene of Salt Lake City, UT; 11 grandchildren; and 22 grandchildren.

Preceding Mr. Morgan in death were his wife, Theresa Broussard Morgan; and parents, Frank and Melissa LeBlanc Morgan.
