Henrietta V. Minix

Funeral services for Henrietta V. Minix, 66, who died at 9:36 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at Lafayette General Hospital (Louisiana Extended Care) will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Starlight Baptist Church of Rayne, with Rev. Cozy Gage officiating.
Interment will followed in Community Garden Cemetery of Rayne.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Starlight Baptist Church.
She was a member of the Starlight Baptist Church Senior Choir, a very faithful and devoted church member, and a mission sister. She was also a member of the APTS/AHS Reunion Committee.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She was dearly loved by her friends and family.
She is survived by a son, Christopher Minix of Rayne; two daughters, LaShonda Minix and Felicia Minix Livings, both of Rayne; two brothers, Ambrose Forman, Sr. of Rayne and Willis Forman, Jr. of Huntsville, AL; four sisters, Sandra Wiggins of Cincinnai, OH, Margaret Plummer, Helena Forman and Yolanda Boutte, all of Rayne; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Curtis; grandmother, Cora Laudin; grandfather, Henry Laudin; brother, Ernest Carter; a nephew, Michael Carter; and an aunt, Mary Davis.
Pallbearers will be James Price, Dwayne Eaglin, Gregory Minix, Kerold Broussard, Earnest Bellard, and Carnell Davis.
Arrangements were entrusted to Frank Brothers Funeral Home of Eunice.
