Iris Miller Borill

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 0at First Baptist Church in Crowley for Iris Miller Borill, 82, who died Sept. 17, 2016, at Southwind Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Rev. Glen Howie and Rev. Randy Borill will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Monday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Crowley. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Huey Paul Borill of Crowley; three sons, Randy Keith Borill and his wife Diana Calhoun of Denham Springs, Huey “Bryan” Borill and his wife Judy Dailey of Crowley and Troy Lynn Borill and his wife Judy Russell of Crowley; four brothers, Daniel Miller of Groves, Texas, Reeve Miller of Jennings, Clyde “Coon” Miller of Jennings and Ted Miller of Jennings; six grandchildren, Josh Borill, Ryan Borill, Jenny Iris Borill Sievers, Jake Borill, Boedy Borill and Gentry Borill; and eight great-grandchildren, Luke, Noah, Jude, Emma, Olivia, Claire, Reese and Rhyan.
Mrs. Borill is preceded in death by her parents, Early and Lorecia Doucet Miller; and two brothers, Irving and Hillary Miller.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Lamm Home Health and Family Care Hospice, her two nurses, Sheryl Trahan and Marisa Sonnier, their aide Kristen Istre, Dr. M.N. Katira, and Dr. Patrick Dale LeLeux, Southwind Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and her caretakers, Mary and Kenneth Guidry, and all of their sitters, for their exceptional care, kindness and compassion.
