Jeanette Ann Wiltz-Broussard
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church for Jeanette Ann Wiltz-Broussard, 64, of Rayne, who died on Thursday, December 4, 2014. at Acadia General Hospital. Father Richard Wagner, SSJ will be officiating.
Visitation will be held at Duhon Funeral Home on Saturday beginning at 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m.
Jeanette was the daughter of the late Presley Wiltz, Sr. and Adele Labba-Wiltz. She and her twin sister were the first of two sets of twins in a family of fifteen children. Music was her passion and she enjoyed cooking for family and friends. But first and foremost, she was a Christian and she loved the Lord.
Jeanette is survived by her children, Stacy Rubin of Rayne, Louisiana; Jennifer Boxie and her husband, Joe, of Carencro, Louisiana; Andrea Angelle of Lafayette, Louisiana; Mario Broussard and his wife, Wendy, of Columbus, Ohio and Marie Broussard of Columbus, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jai Rubin, Gennis St. Julien, Gerard St. Julien III, Janay St. Julien, Bryan Williams, Jr., Mario Broussard II, Brandon Broussard, Desmand Broussard and Brittney Broussard; her sisters, Mary Jane Anderson and her husband, Louis, of Port Arthur, Texas; Barbara Logan and Donna Wiltz of Rayne, Louisiana; her brothers, Presley Wiltz, Jr. and Harry Wiltz of Rayne, Louisiana; her brother-in-law: Preston Bernard of Scott, Louisiana; her goddaughter, Sharinda Evans of Rayne, Lousiana; many nieces and nephews whom she adored, other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John M Broussard; her parents, Presley Wiltz, Sr. and Adele Labba-Wiltz; her sisters, Elizabeth Wiltz, Mabel Wiltz-Gothe, Mary Ann Wiltz and Lynette Wiltz-Bernard; her brothers, Wilbert Wiltz, Willie Wiltz, Gilbert Wiltz, Elton John (Tony) Wiltz and Danny Wiltz; and two nieces, Bernadette Bernard and Jacqueline Wiltz-Mac.
The pallbearers will be Joe Boxie, Blake Gothe, Donald “Pete” Gothe, Rufus Gothe III, Wil “Reddi” Johnson, Joshua St. Julian, Gerard St. Julien III and John Young.
Interment will be at Our Mother of Mercy Cemetery.
