Jo Ann Shamsie

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Jo Ann Shamsie, 74, who died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 at 1:15 a.m. at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.

Rev. Frank A. Manzano II will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to service time Wednesday. Burial will be in Estherwood Cemetery.

Ms. Shamsie is survived by four sisters, Rose Marie S. Boldman of Pearland, TX, Patsy S. Wacker of Alexandria, Jerry S. Mayer of Youngsville and Peggy S. Amyett of Searcy, AR; three brothers, Mohamed Shamsie of Estherwood, Rashid Shamsie of Round Rock, TX and Lynn Shamsie of Estherwood; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mohamed and Rose Breaux Shamsie; one sister, Sadie S. Dye; three brothers, James Shamsie, Sahid Shamsie and Charles Shamsie.
