Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Joan “Hebert” Belveal, 63, who passed away at her home in Crowley on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at 11 p.m.
Pastor Frank Walker, pastor of Liberty Baptist, will be officiating for the services. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Iota.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 9 a.m. until time of services all in the Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Edgar Belveal Jr. of Crowley; her mother, Ella Stansbury of Crowley; one daughter, Karensa and husband Greg Murdick of Houston, Texas; one son, Cody Belveal of Houston, Texas; and six grandchildren, Elijah, Hannah, Isaiah, Benjamin, Thomas Murdick and August Belveal.
Joan was preceded in death by her father, Harold Stansbury; and one son, Edgar Belveal.
