Joseph Hilbert Leger

Joseph Hilbert, Leger, 80, died Monday, July 4, 2016, at Our Lady of the Oaks in Lafayette.
Mr. Leger was born Dec. 24, 1935, in Acadia Parish to Elzie and Eda Leger. He was a self-employed air conditioner and heater repairman until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Leger of Mire; one son, Brett Leger and wife Diedre of Mire; two grandchildren, Mason and Austin Leger of Mire; and two brothers, C.J. Leger of Duson and J.R. Leger of Mire.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Leger was preceded in death by one sister, Mabel L. LeJeune of Rayne; and one brother, Percy Leger of Mire.
At his request, Mr. Leger’s body was donated to science.
