Joshua James Bourque

Rayne - Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Saturday, April 16, 2016, at a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. for Joshua James Bourque, 17, who died Wednesday, April 13, 2016, in Lafayette General Medical Center, Lafayette, LA.
Interment was in the Leger Cemetery, Rayne, LA.
Survivors include his mother, Tina Gautreaux and husband Keith Lenormand, I of Sunset; one brother, Derrick Bourque and wife Hope of Rayne; three half-brothers, Jack Throw of Eugene, Oregon, Brook Daigle of Sunset, and Keith Lenormand, III of Sunset; paternal grandfather, Wilbert Bourque, Sr. and wife, Susan, Credeur Bourque of Indian Bayou; paternal grandmother, Ruddell Terro Prejean, of Duson; three aunts, Pam Bourque Heard and husband, Robert, of Lake Charles, Jessica Roger and husband, Joseph, of Erath, and Paula Ann Roberts and husband Calvin, of Breaux Bridge; five uncles, Connie Melancon and wife, Janet, of Crowley, David Melancon and wife, Marilyn, of Rayne, Jeffery Gautreaux and wife, Marilyn, of Rayne, Carroll Gautreaux and wife, Betty, of Rayne, and Yancey Melancon and wife. Kimberly, of Colorado; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbert Joseph Bourque, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Janelle Zaunbrecher Bourque; maternal grandparents, Dave and Mary Gautreaux; and half -sister, Aliska Jade Gautreaux.
A rosary was recited on Friday, April 15, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne, LA.
Friends were received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA Friday, April 15, 2016, 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 16, 2016, 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
