Kenneth P. Drake

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, at noon at Northside Assembly of God in Crowley for Kenneth P. Drake, 23, who died Saturday, Aug. 2. Tyron Davis will serve as officiant for the services and burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family has asked that visitation be held from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9.

Kenneth was a loving person. He was loved by many. His smile and loving kindness was shared in so many ways. He loved being around his family.

Kenneth is survived by his parents, Gloria Hayes and Timothy Hayes Sr. of Crowley; his fiancée, Paige Sonnier of Crowley; his son, Kenneth P. Drake III; brothers, Timothy Hayes II (Mallory) of Crowley, Texas, Corderyl Hayes (Tranessa) of Crowley, Louisiana, and Brock Thomas of Houston; and sisters, Shawnday Lewis (Clifton) of Lafayette, Demetra (Johnathan) Savoy of Carencro, Kiana Lewis and Kiara Hayes (Britian), all of Crowley, and Alexa and Tramaine Hayes of Houston.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Drake Sr.; his grandmother, Gloria A. Lewis; aunt, Debra Lewis; his grandmother, Emily Drake; and his grandfather, Samuel Drake Sr.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Smith, Thadieus Hawkins, Kiara Robinson (Keke), Kendal Thomas (Ken), Darius Thomas, Darius Jennig, Mark Thomas and Alonzo King. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Drake, Karl Prudhomme, Kerry Thomas, Timothy Hayes Jr., Corderyl Hayes, Orlando Lewis, Brock Thomas, Qualyan Zachary and James Collins.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Wiltuner Funeral Home.
