Kristopher John Bellon

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. at St. Michael Church in Egan for Kristopher John Bellon, 29, who died Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at 1 a.m. at Jennings American Legion Hospital.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Egan and was an avid LSU Tiger fan. He loved duck hunting with friends and family. But most of all his enjoyment in life was spending time with his daughters, family and friends.

Fr. Jude Thierry, pastor of St. Michael Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. A rosary will be recited Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Iota by Deacon Steve VanCleve. 

Kristopher is survived by two daughters, Abigail and Brooklyn Bellon, both of Iota; his parents, John and Karla Dommert Bellon of Egan; two brothers, Browdie Bellon and wife Julie and their children, Prestyn and Kohen Bellon of Egan, and Andrew Bellon of Egan; his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Joann Dommert of Egan; and his girlfriend, Shellie Ardoin of Basile;

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Elaine Bellon; and his uncle, Sam Dommert.

Pallbearers will be Blake Maybrier, Ian Redlich, Alex Sattler, Dustin Oliver, Michael Trahan and Dustin Trumps.
