Kurt Jeffrey Artman

The family of Kurt Jeffrey Artman, 57, sadly announces his passing. Kurt passed away at Camelot Place in Crowley on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, and has been cremated.

Kurt was born Dec. 27, 1956, in Freeport, Texas, to the late John “Jack” Phillip Artman and the late Helen Knopik Artman. He was married to the late Lewanna Babineaux Artman, who passed away Oct. 11, 2008.

Kurt was a graduate of the 1975 class of Robert E. Lee High and attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Noah. Kurt’s unconditional love will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Kurt is survived by his brothers, Lee, Craig, Sean and Alan Artman; his sisters Cindy Palmer and Tina Artman; and one grandson, Noah Scott Artman.

Kurt’s family would like to thank Camelot Place for their care of Kurt as well as Mandy and Heather at KAILO for caring for Kurt for all these years.
