Lawrence “Zoinck” Guillot

Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Lawrence “Zoink” Guillot, 83, who died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at 9:15 a.m. at Encore Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Crowley.
Mr. Guillot was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served his country during the Korean Conflict. He retired from farming and G & H Seed Company.
Fr. Billy Massie, associate pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Monday from 11 a.m. to service time. A rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Guillot is survived by his wife, Lou Ella Whittington Guillot of Crowley; one daughter, Shevon G. Gee of New Waverly, Texas; three sons, Lawrence Wayne Guillot of Biloxi, Mississippi, Carlton K. Guillot of Long Beach, Mississippi, and Glenn Charles Guillot of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Shane Guillot and Randall Louis Guillot; his parents, Louis and Eugené Legnion Guillot; one sister, Bertha G. Romero; and two brothers, Preston and Richard Guillot.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Guillot, Keith Guillot, Ryan Guillot, Matthew McBride, Joseph Guillot and Adam Guillot. Honorary pallbearers will be Lane Richard and Nathan Richard.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to your favorite charity in memory of Mr. Guillot.
