Leola Junot Leger

Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, Nov. 2, at a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30 p.m. for Leola Junot Leger, 80, who died Friday, Oct. 30, 2015, at her residence in Rayne.
Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2 in Rayne.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary Leger Vidalier and husband Alton Jr. of Rayne; one son, Nathan Leger of Rayne; one grandchild, Margaret Menard and husband Joe of Rayne; four great-grandchildren, one sister, Mildred Spell of Highland, Texas.
She was preceded in death by husband, Woodrow Leger; mother, Mary Lena Arceneaux Junot; father, Volcar Junot; one sister, Loula May Gardner; one brother, Edward Junot; one grandson, Cortny Vidalier; one niece, Deborah Cole; and two nephews, Glenn Gould and Dwayne Boudreaux.
She was a member of Woodmen of the World and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
A rosary will be recited Sunday, Nov., at 7 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne.
Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., in Rayne Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
